About Us
Holiday Valley Resorts & Stayz is dedicated to providing guests with a world-class hospitality experience, offering a unique blend of comfort, luxury, and personalized service. We are expanding our culinary team and looking for a Chinese Cuisine Specialist to deliver authentic and high-quality dishes to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a wide range of authentic Chinese dishes (starters, main courses, noodles, soups, sauces, etc.).
- Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of all food items.
- Develop innovative menus and seasonal specialties in line with guest preferences.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
- Manage kitchen stock for Chinese ingredients and coordinate with the purchase team for requirements.
- Train and guide junior chefs and kitchen staff in Chinese cuisine techniques.
- Work closely with the F&B and service teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Monitor portion control, reduce food wastage, and ensure cost efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chinese Chef / Specialist / Cook in hotels, resorts, or fine-dining restaurants.
- Expertise in authentic Chinese culinary techniques (stir-fry, steaming, wok handling, sauces, etc.).
- Ability to design attractive and creative menus.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work in a resort/hospitality environment.
