Webgl/ Threejs Developer

You will be a key contributor to the development, maintenance, and optimization of the core 3D rendering pipeline for our LiDAR point clouds and camera data. Your primary focus will be on implementing new features, building reusable 3D components, and ensuring the stability and performance of the rendering canvas in the React application. You'll ensure our complex annotation tools are intuitive, performant, and correctly reflect the underlying data.

Key Responsibilities

• Feature Implementation: Develop and integrate new rendering components essential for the annotation workflow (e.g., coordinate axis systems, complex bounding box visualizations, dynamic geometry overlays).
• Primitive Management: Efficiently create, update, and manage core Primitives (e.g.,BoxGeometry, LineSegments, custom BufferGeometry) to build accurate and high-performance annotation tools.
• Component Integration: Work closely with the React team to integrate the 3D rendering canvas and its interactions seamlessly within the main application state and UI flow.
• Debugging and Maintenance: Proactively diagnose and fix rendering issues, performance bottlenecks, and bugs within the existing and shader codebase.
• Asset Loading & Data Handling: Implement robust solutions for the efficient loading and disposal of 3D assets, textures, and large point cloud data sets.
• Collaboration & Support: Work with the Senior Graphics Engineer to integrate advanced shader-based features and assist in optimizing GPU compute pipelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Solid proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Proven experience (3+ years) with the library in a production environment.
• Strong, practical knowledge of geometric primitives and best practices for creating and manipulating BufferGeometry for performance.
• Foundational understanding of WebGL principles and experience writing simple, performant shaders (GLSL).
• Experience integrating a canvas into a React application (using hooks, context, etc.).
• Strong grasp of 3D mathematics, including linear algebra, transformations, and coordinate systems.
• A portfolio or demonstrable experience showcasing 3D rendering projects is highly desirable.

Pay: ₹50, ₹300,000.00 per month
