Role & responsibilities

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance testing processes and tools.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and test strategies.
  • Analyse business and technical requirements to design detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Execute manual and automated testing across different environments (development, QA, staging, production).
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps).
  • Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Participate in design and code reviews to provide quality assurance feedback.
  • Conduct regression, functional, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards, IT policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Measure and report key quality metrics (defect density, test coverage, test execution rate, etc.).
  • Verify that system enhancements meet performance, security, and reliability standards.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, Postman, Jenkins, or similar.
  • Knowledge of API testing, performance testing, and security testing.
  • Assist in automation framework development and maintenance (using tools like Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, or similar).
