Job Summary: The primary role of a Data Scientist is to analyze and interpret complex data sets and identify relevant trends, patterns, and insights. The job requires advanced knowledge of mathematics, computer science, statistics, and analytical reasoning. The Data Scientist is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining predictive models and algorithms that can help businesses make informed decisions based on data analysis. Additionally, they will work closely with other data professionals such as database administrators and data analysts to ensure data is prepared and cleaned for analysis. Duties and Responsibilities: Extract and preprocess data from multiple sources, including structured and unstructured data. Perform exploratory data analysis and generate visualizations that clearly communicate information to business stakeholders. Develop and implement predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques. Apply data mining techniques to identify patterns and trends in large datasets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business goals and objectives that can be addressed using data analysis. Communicate insights and recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders. Work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize projects based on business needs. Continuously evaluate and improve existing models, algorithms, and data processing techniques. Qualifications: Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field. Experience: At least 2 years of experience in data science or a related field. Strong programming skills in SQL and Python. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
