Position : Cognos Developer

Location : Dubai, UAE

We are looking for a skilled Cognos Developer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IBM Cognos Analytics, data modeling, and business intelligence reporting.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Cognos reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable BI solutions.

- Develop and optimize Framework Manager models and data packages.

- Integrate Cognos with relational databases, data warehouses, and other BI tools.

- Ensure reports and dashboards deliver accurate and timely insights.

- Perform data analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for Cognos solutions.

- Work closely with data engineers, ETL developers, and business analysts to ensure end-to-end BI delivery.

- Implement BI best practices, including data governance and security.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5 years of hands-on experience with IBM Cognos Analytics / Cognos BI.

- Proficiency in Framework Manager, Report Studio, Workspace, and Query Studio.

- Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, etc.).

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (ETL, OLAP, Star/Snowflake schema).

- Strong SQL skills, performance tuning, and complex query writing.

- Knowledge of cloud BI environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
