Position Overview:

As a DevOps and AWS Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure our systems are scalable, resilient, and secure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management:
  • Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure using best practices.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of AWS services.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and Ansible
  • CI/CD Pipeline Development:
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like AzureDevOps, GitLab CI.
  • Security and Compliance: Integrate automated testing, security scans, and other quality gates into the CI/CD process.
  • Monitor and optimize pipeline performance.
  • Automation and Scripting:
  • Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Lambda).
  • Develop and manage custom automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitoring and Logging:
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Set up alerts and dashboards using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for incidents.
  • Collaboration and Support:
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and services.
  • Provide support for production environments, including on-call support as needed.
  • Assist in the evaluation and selection of new tools and technologies.
  • Security and Compliance:
  • Implement and maintain security best practices, including IAM roles, security groups, and encryption.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and AWS.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • Proven experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and IAM.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AzureDevOps.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Proficiency of containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
