Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation (or similar tools).
Architect, deploy, and optimize Kubernetes clusters on Amazon EKS, including compute instance sizing and resource allocation.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and AWS services to automate deployments and testing.
Implement cost optimization strategies, resource monitoring, and rightsizing for AWS infrastructure.
Manage Docker containerization workflows image builds, optimizations, and multi-environment deployments.
Oversee SQL database migration processes and coordinate with backend engineers for data consistency and performance.
Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and disaster recovery best practices.
Document DevOps processes and guide development teams in following deployment best practices.
Strong expertise in AWS CloudFormation and AWS resource management.
Proven experience with Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) setup, scaling, and cost-efficient operation.
Hands-on experience in CI/CD automation with GitLab, Jenkins, and related AWS tools.
Proficiency in Docker, including image optimization and multi-stage builds.
Good knowledge of Python and its deployment environments.
Experience with SQL databases, migrations, and backup processes.
Proficient in Git and collaborative development workflows.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with experience in production environments.
