Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Welder proficient in Argon (TIG) and MIG welding techniques to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding components according to specifications, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform TIG (Argon) and MIG welding on various metals, including stainless steel and mild steel.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding procedure specifications.
  • Set up welding machines and equipment according to job requirements.
  • Inspect welded joints to ensure compliance with quality and industry standards.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition.
  • Follow all safety protocols and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Perform grinding, cutting, and finishing tasks as required.
  • Assist in the fabrication and assembly of components or structures.
  • Report any defects, deviations, or quality issues to the supervisor promptly.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in TIG (Argon) and MIG welding.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Strong understanding of metallurgy and various welding techniques.
  • Knowledge of industry safety standards and best practices.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform welding tasks in diverse working conditions.
  • Minimum of 3 years of welding experience in an industrial or fabrication environment.
  • Welding certification preferred, but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification from a recognized welding institute.
  • Experience with additional welding processes is a plus.
  • Knowledge of quality control and inspection procedures.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
