Job Description
About the Role:
STAGE is expanding its content slate across Haryanvi, Bhojpuri, Rajasthani, and other regional languages. We are looking for enthusiastic and organized Casting Assistants to support our growing number of productions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for talent, and excellent coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Casting Support: Assist in identifying and shortlisting suitable actors based on project briefs.
- Coordination: Communicate with actors, talent agencies, and internal teams for audition scheduling and look tests.
- Database Management: Maintain and update actor profiles and audition records on internal platforms
- Audition Handling: Organize and manage audition shoots, including setting up the space, recording performances, and logging footage.
- Documentation: Handle contracts, consent forms, and maintain proper records of finalized cast.
- Communication: Relay feedback from directors and producers to talent and assist in final selections.
- Market Research: Keep track of emerging talent in the regional space and build a strong actor network.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (Hindi & English; regional language is a plus)
- Basic knowledge of camera operations and audition setup
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
- Highly organized, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask and work under tight timelines
- Previous experience in casting, theatre, or media preferred
