Jamco America specializes in large fleet aircraft refurbishment and reconfiguration, including IFE, structural and electrical modifications, seat re-pitching and installation, and cabinetry installation and rework. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Pune for a Mechanical Design Engineer. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components, performing detailed engineering analyses, creating CAD models, and producing technical documentation. This role will also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design requirements are met and managing project timelines and deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Design Engineering, Aerospace Interiors Design and Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in Product Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
  • Strong Aerospace Interiors Domain skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to manage project timelines and deliverables
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus
