Role & responsibilities

  • Record and process customer invoices, receipts, and payments accurately in the accounting system.
  • Follow up with clients via email or phone for outstanding invoices and ensure timely collections.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Assist in preparing aging reports and highlight overdue accounts to management.
  • Maintain proper documentation of invoices, receipts, and customer correspondence.
  • Coordinate with the sales and operations teams for invoice clarifications and payment disputes.
  • Support in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare daily/weekly collection reports for management review.
  • Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
  • 0–2 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software Tally prime
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and numerical aptitude.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
