Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and customize
    Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud (NPSP)
    solutions to support fundraising, donor management, and program delivery.
  • Develop and maintain
    Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Visualforce pages
    .
  • Configure and enhance
    NPSP data model, rollups, and automation
    .
  • Build and maintain
    integrations
    with third-party applications (e.g., payment gateways, marketing automation tools, ERP).
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to
    gather requirements
    and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Ensure
    data quality, security, and governance
    within the Salesforce org.
  • Support
    deployment and CI/CD processes
    using tools like Git, Copado, or Gearset.
  • Provide
    end-user support, training, and documentation
    for nonprofit-specific use cases.

Required Qualifications

  • 4–8 years of Salesforce development experience.
  • Hands-on expertise with
    Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP)
    .
  • Proficiency in
    Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, APIs
    .
  • Experience with
    Salesforce configuration
    (custom objects, page layouts, record types, validation rules, reports, dashboards).
  • Strong knowledge of
    Salesforce integrations
    (REST/SOAP APIs, Middleware, etc.).
  • Understanding of
    fundraising, donor management, and nonprofit data structures
    .
  • Salesforce
    Platform Developer I
    certification (Developer II or NPSP Consultant a plus).
  • Excellent
    problem-solving and communication skills
    .

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with
    Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud add-ons
    (Program Management Module, Case Management, Grant Management).
  • Familiarity with
    products
    like Marketing Cloud for Nonprofits or Experience Cloud for communities.
  • Knowledge of
    Agile delivery
    methodologies.
  • Exposure to
    DevOps tools for Salesforce
    (Copado, Gearset, Jenkins).
