We are seeking a skilled and proactive Database Developer with 24 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance database systems.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in MySQL, have strong AWS RDS knowledge, and be comfortable using AI tools for enhancing database operations.

Along with experience in MySQL, it would be an added advantage to have exposure to backend technologies such as Python or PHP.

This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of both relational databases and emerging big data technologies. Should have experience working with MYSQL Database.


Nice to Have :

- Exposure to AWS cloud infrastructure

- Exposure to backend technologies like Python or PHP is an added advantage.


Job Responsibilities :

- Designing and developing efficient and secure databases to meet the company's data management needs.

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand database requirements and develop appropriate solutions.

- Writing complex database queries, stored procedures, and triggers to extract and manipulate data as required.

- Conducting database performance tuning and optimization to enhance system efficiency.

- AWS RDS knowledge is a must to monitor the daily RDS utilizations and thereby perform performance tuning.

- Ensuring data integrity and security through proper backup and recovery procedures.

- Troubleshooting database-related issues and providing timely resolutions.

- Maintaining documentation of database design, schema, and processes.

- Keeping up to date with emerging database technologies and industry trends.

- Responsible for developing and implementing big data concepts.

- Involve in supervision activities where necessary.

- Should be familiar with MySQL and AWS cloud knowledge is a must.


Requirements :

- 2 to 4 years of experience in database development.

- Strong hands-on experience in MySQL.

- Good knowledge of AWS RDS.

- Experience using AI tools in the database department.

- Exposure to backend technologies like Python or PHP is an added advantage.

- Good communication skills both oral and written
