System Analyst

Summary:

The Systems Analyst role will directly strengthen the program's ability to serve users—teachers, coordinators and partners —by optimising internal systems i.e. Oyster and Disha portal function smoothly, remain user-friendly, and continuously improve along with improving cross-departmental workflows.

Responsibilities:

Process Mapping & Documentation

• Analyze and map end-to-end workflows across multiple departments
• Develop clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), flowcharts, and step-by-step guides
• Identify gaps and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency

Requirements Gathering & Vendor Coordination

• Engage with stakeholders - teachers, partners, coordinators to understand pain points, system limitations, and program needs.
• Convert user needs and system requirements into structured, actionable documentation to guide technology partners and vendors

System Testing & Quality Assurance

• Support development of sandbox or pilot environments for early testing.
• Plan, organize, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with end users.
• Track, document, and prioritize bugs and feature requests.
• Validate fixes and ensure overall system stability and performance before rollout.

Data, Training & Knowledge Management

• Maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track system usage, adoption, and operational metrics.
• Manage internal knowledge bases, documentation libraries, and support materials.
• Provide training, onboarding, and helpdesk support to staff to ensure successful system adoption.

Qualifications:

• Masters / Bachelor's degree in Information Technology in Engineering / Computer Science, or related field
• 2-4 years of experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or process improvement roles.
• Strong understanding of workflow design, system integrations, and user-centered problem solving.
• Experience with UAT, QA tracking tools, and documentation platforms.
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Despite this colossal number, they are stigmatised, considered less deserving and are unable to access the resources that they need to achieve their full potential.

Even within the disabilities space, ID seems to be the most invisible and continues to be excluded from India's mainstream development narrative, experiencing widespread violations of their rights.

with ID at our campus
in Mumbai, Deolali & Talegaon.

Over 70% of our students come from the lower socioeconomic strata.

We have no minimum IQ requirement

and till date no one has been turned away for their inability to afford our services.

HEALTHCARE -

We provide holistic, need-based medical & therapeutic intervention to children & adults with ID.

PAEDIATRIC NEUROLOGY MEDICAL CAMPS -

We provide free diagnosis & medical care in rural Maharashtra to children with neurological issues. 

EDUCATION -

We provide education through
4 schools for ages 3-18 years, to address each individual's unique needs.

The aim is to enhance their capabilities through a
holistic curriculum as well as empower them to be independent in their daily life.

DISHA ABHIYAN–

The goal of Disha is to
build and disseminate an Assessment Checklist Tool & Uniform Curriculum in Special Schools

to transform education for children with ID and provide training for the implementation of the curriculum. Both of which have been
certified by the National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disability (NIEPID).

In 2019, we partnered with the Department of Social Justice & Special Assistance - Commissionerate of PwD, Government of Maharashtra. Currently, we are in
36 districts of Maharashtra,

impacting
453 special schools,

over
2600 special educators

and more than
18,000 children.

SKILL DEVELOPMENT Centre–

Through our Vocational Training Centre, Sheltered Workshop & Respite Care sections, we provide job training, livelihood opportunities & training in activities of daily living for adults with ID to enable them to find gainful opportunities & lead an empowered life.
