Purpose of the role

The ITQ Business Analyst is the business technical leader on the ITQ product team who serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, helping organizations improve processes, services, and low code platform through data-driven analysis. This role involves gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing current operations, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting the implementation of effective solutions. Business Analysts work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure business needs are clearly understood, translate into actionable plans that align with organizational goals and act as a coach and mentor to junior team members.  

This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills who can work independently and collaboratively across business and technical teams. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

·       Overall business and technical leadership accountability for the process and system enhancements and capabilities. 

·       Partner with global ITQ teams across business units and centralized teams to understand business issues, identify opportunities, recommend potential solutions, and drive solutions to implementation. 

·       Understanding of databases and basic SQL. 

·       Develops gathering business requirements for enhancements/capabilities in their areas·   

·       Drives testing and implementation of the enhancements/capabilities in their areas 

·       Ensures integration with other key business processes 

·       Ensures integration with GMI enterprise processes and ITQ business processes 

·       Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and support release management activities. 

·       Conduct training sessions and provide support for end-users to maximize platform adoption and effectiveness. 

·       Stay abreast of emerging technologies and recommend innovations to enhance platform capabilities. 

·       Work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions for new system roll outs, major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications, under direct supervision. 

·       Understand the strategic direction set by management as it relates to team goals. 

·       Seek guidance when determining methods and procedures on new assignments and developing skills needed to execute responsibilities.  

·       Experience and Proficiency in required technical skills to enable mentoring and coaching to junior team members & to work with developers to drive solutions. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education – Full time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory- Note: This is the minimum education criteria which cannot be altered)Bachelor's degree in engineering in any one of: Business Administration, Information Technology .Total experience required 7-10 Years. Strong learning agility and willingness to learn new systems and business processes Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience in code optimization, enforcing coding standards, and improving application performance. Strong communication skills, with experience in training and mentoring. Ability to document technical and architectural decisions effectively. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in engineering in any one of: Business Administration, Information TechnologyAbility to lead discovery sessions and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.Proficient in data analysis, KPIs, and translating data into actionable insights.
