Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Handbag Assistant Designer located in Kolkata. The Handbag Assistant Designer will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of handbags, working closely with the senior design team to create innovative and high-quality products. Daily tasks include sketching designs, selecting materials and textiles, creating prototypes, and ensuring fittings and embroidery details meet the company's standards. The role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure designs are executed efficiently and align with market trends.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Fashion Design and Fashion
  • Experience in working with Textiles and selecting appropriate materials
  • Proficiency in Embroidery and detailed decorative work
  • Understanding of Fitting and creating prototypes
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for innovative design
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field is preferred
