Within the first year of the launch of ProMark, we've built ProMark from $0 to $700K ARR by blending data-driven marketing, creative storytelling, and deep insights into fashion trends and consumer behaviour to drive measurable results for brands on Shopify.

Role Overview :

We are hiring a Full-Stack SDE-2 / Tech Lead who can build, scale, and optimize our logistics SaaS platform end-to-end.

You'll work closely with the founders and lead the technical direction of our product, architecture, automations, and integrations.

This is a founder's office role, not a typical developer job : you will own problems, drive decisions, and build systems that go live across multiple D2C brands.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Core Platform & Backend Development

2. Architect and develop the backend for a multi-tenant logistics SaaS + TypeScript).

3. Build scalable REST APIs and internal services with clean architecture.

4. Design a robust PostgreSQL database schema for stores, orders, shipments, and remittances.

5. Shopify App Development

6. Build and maintain Shopify App backend (OAuth + scopes + token lifecycle).

7. Use Shopify Admin GraphQL API for orders, fulfillment, refunds, inventory, etc.

8. Setup and manage Shopify webhooks with retry logic.

9. Courier Partner Integrations

10. Integrate APIs of Delhivery, Ekart, Amazon Shipping, Xpressbees, Shadowfax, etc:

11. Shipment creation
12. Label generation
13. Tracking + NDR
14. RTO handling

15. Weight discrepancy reconciliation

16. System Scalability & Infra

17. Implement background workers, cron jobs, queues (Redis + BullMQ).

18. Build event-driven architecture for tasks, syncing & automation workflows.

19. Ensure high availability, security, and performance.

20. Finance & Reconciliation Engine

21. Build COD remittance engine (expected vs received COD).

22. Handle courier payout discrepancies, returns, partial remittances.

23. Create reports & reconciliation logs.

24. Leadership & Culture

25. Mentor tech engineers and review code quality.

26. Make architectural decisions and maintain technical standards.
27. Work with founders on feature planning, timelines, and execution.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in + TypeScript.
• Strong experience with REST API design and consuming 3rd-party APIs.
• Mandatory: Shopify Admin GraphQL OR ability to learn extremely fast.
• Strong with SQL (PostgreSQL) + ORM (Prisma / TypeORM).
• Hands-on experience with webhooks, queues, Redis, event-driven architecture.
• Experience integrating complex systems (payments, logistics, CRMs).
• Ability to solve problems independently and take end-to-end ownership.
• Understanding of SaaS multi-tenant architecture.

Good to Have

• Experience with courier APIs: Delhivery, Xpressbees, Ekart, Amazon Shipping, Bluedart.
• Experience with Shopify app ecosystem (App Bridge, Polaris, Remix).
• DevOps basics: Docker, CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments.
• Prior experience in reconciliation, payouts, financial calculations.
• Experience in building dashboards or internal tools.
