Role & responsibilities

  • Design and develop UI/UX wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma.
  • Create responsive layouts optimized for mobile, tablet, and web platforms.
  • Ensure that the Figma designs are easily translatable into and component structures.
  • Work closely with front-end developers to deliver designs that are developer-friendly and scalable.
  • Establish and maintain a design system/style guide (colors, typography, icons, reusable components).
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to refine requirements into design deliverables.
  • Ensure accessibility (WCAG compliance) and usability best practices are implemented in designs.
  • Continuously improve the design process to enhance efficiency and maintain consistency across projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 35 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer with proven expertise in Figma.
  • Strong understanding of design systems, grids, typography, and responsive design.
  • Hands-on experience creating designs that are convertible to and layouts.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end development basics for developer collaboration.
  • Experience in designing for mobile-first and web-first applications.
  • Ability to conduct user research, usability testing, and wireframing.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment.
  • Portfolio showcasing previous Figma projects, including React/Vue compatible layouts.

Good to Have

  • Familiarity with TailwindCSS, Material UI, or other modern UI frameworks.
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript for better handoff to developers.
  • Experience with design-to-code tools (Locofy, Anima, Zeplin).
  • Understanding of UI performance optimization techniques.
