Language Requirement: Proficiency in Kannada (Mandatory)

Job Description:

We are hiring a Senior Associate for the Real Estate practice of a leading Tier 1 law firm in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in real estate transactions, land due diligence, and title verification, with a sound understanding of local laws and regulations in Karnataka. Proficiency in Kannada is essential for effective client and document handling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting title due diligence and drafting title reports

  • Advising on land acquisition, joint development, and lease transactions

  • Drafting and vetting conveyance documents, lease deeds, MoUs, and sale agreements

  • Liaising with clients, local authorities, and government departments

  • Providing legal opinions and advisory on land laws and real estate compliance

  • Supporting litigation and dispute resolution teams as required

Requirements:

  • LL.B. degree from a reputed institution

  • 4-6 years of post-qualification experience in real estate law

  • Prior experience in a reputed law firm or real estate-focused practice

  • Strong command over Kannada (written and spoken)

  • Excellent communication, drafting, and client-handling skills
