Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchase Engineer, based in Gurugram. The Purchase Engineer will oversee purchasing processes, manage purchase orders, and plan procurement activities efficiently. The role involves working with suppliers to negotiate pricing, assess vendor performance, and ensure timely delivery of materials. The candidate will also analyze purchasing data to optimize cost and improve overall procurement strategies.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Purchasing Processes, Purchase Management, and Purchase Planning
  • Experience with handling Purchase Orders and managing supplier relationships
  • Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate procurement needs and optimize costs
  • Effective negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Prior experience in procurement within a manufacturing or service-based industry is a plus
