Job Description Oracle EPM Consultant

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPM Consultant to join our team. The consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions, including Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Consolidation, and Reporting. The role requires strong functional and technical expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud and/or Hyperion applications, along with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to deliver effective performance management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the design, implementation, and configuration of Oracle EPM solutions (EPM Cloud, Hyperion Planning, FCCS, ARCS, EPBCS, PCMCS, EDMCS).
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, analyze needs, and translate them into technical/functional specifications.
  • Develop and maintain EPM models for budgeting, planning, forecasting, and consolidation.
  • Build and maintain calculation scripts, business rules, dashboards, and reports.
  • Ensure smooth integration of EPM with ERP (Oracle Fusion, SAP, etc.) and other enterprise systems.
  • Provide user training, documentation, and support during UAT and post go-live phases.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and propose process/system improvements.
  • Stay updated with Oracle EPM product enhancements and recommend best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4–8 years of hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud and/or Oracle Hyperion applications.

  • Strong expertise in modules such as:

  • Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS/EPBCS)

  • Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS)
  • Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS)
  • Enterprise Data Management (EDMCS)

  • Profitability and Cost Management (PCMCS)

  • Proficiency in Smart View, Essbase, Calculation Manager, Data Management (FDMEE), and EPM Automate.

  • Strong understanding of financial processes (budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, reporting).
  • Knowledge of data integration, ETL tools, and reporting solutions.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Oracle EPM/Hyperion certifications preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
  • Good stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
