Roles and Responsibilities – Chinese Commi 2 Chef

  • Food Preparation & Cooking
  • Assist in preparing and cooking Chinese dishes such as noodles, fried rice, dim sum, soups, and gravies.
  • Handle mise-en-place (cutting vegetables, marinating meats, preparing sauces) efficiently before service.
  • Maintain consistency in taste, portion, and presentation.
  • Sauce & Ingredient Preparation
  • Prepare base sauces, seasonings, and condiments used in Chinese cooking.
  • Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly cut, and ready for use during service hours.
  • Quality & Hygiene Maintenance
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the kitchen.
  • Follow FSSAI and company hygiene standards at all times.
  • Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO method).
  • Equipment Handling
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as woks, fryers, and steamers safely.
  • Immediately report any damage or malfunction to the supervisor.
  • Teamwork & Coordination
  • Work closely with the Head Chef, Commi 1, and other kitchen staff for smooth operations.
  • Assist other sections when required during busy hours.
  • Time Management & Efficiency
  • Ensure timely preparation and delivery of dishes, especially during rush hours.
  • Maintain organized workstations for quick and efficient service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10, ₹15,000.00 per month
