Role & responsibilities

  • Experience: 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in GST.
  • The candidate must have a strong understanding of GST principles, procedures, and recent amendments, along with a proactive approach to tax compliance.
  • Must have hands-on experience in independent filing of GST returns, GST refunds, and preparation of detailed opinions and advisory notes.
  • Should have experience in drafting replies to notices, filing GST appeals before the Appellate Authority, and representation before GST Authorities.
  • Will be responsible for managing all aspects of GST, from return filing and reconciliations to advisory, audit handling, and litigation support.
  • Should have sound knowledge of GSTN portal, including registration amendments, LUT filing, and response to departmental communications.
  • Should have experience in GST annual return and reconciliation statement (GSTR-9/9C) preparation and review.
  • Ability to analyze complex GST issues and provide practical business-oriented solutions.
  • Should be capable of reviewing and mentoring junior team members and ensuring accuracy and compliance in deliverables.
  • Exposure to departmental audits, inspections, and representing clients during hearings will be an added advantage.
  • Good communication, drafting, and analytical skills are essential.
