Bakery and pastry

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & Baking

• Prepare, bake, and finish a wide variety of breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and desserts.
• Develop new recipes and seasonal menu items.
• Ensure all products meet company quality and presentation standards.
• Monitor baking processes (mixing, proofing, baking, cooling) for accuracy and consistency.

Kitchen Operations

• Maintain proper inventory of baking ingredients and supplies.
• Ensure equipment is used safely and properly maintained.
• Manage daily production schedules to meet demand and minimize wastage.
• Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines (HACCP/FSSAI standards if applicable).

Team Management

• Supervise junior bakers and assistants.
• Train staff on techniques, recipes, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams for smooth workflow.

Quality & Hygiene

• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the bakery area at all times.
• Monitor ingredient freshness and storage conditions.
• Conduct regular quality checks on finished products.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or certification in Bakery & Pastry Arts (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Bakery Chef / Pastry Chef (X years).
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, dough management, and pastry work.
• Creativity in flavors, presentation, and recipe innovation.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and under pressure.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Requires standing for long hours and handling of heavy equipment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18, ₹30,000.00 per month
