Vehicle Layout Engineer

Job Description / Skill Set
o Entire vehicle specification & configuration generation
o Handling weight management
o Knowledge on Vehicle development process
o Knowledge of Entire vehicle base layout creation/management
o GD & T
o Engineering drawing
o BOM preparation & management
o Vehicle packaging & new concept feasibility study
o Management of vehicle packaging issues.
o DMU Build, DMU Check & study reports.
o Vehicle Benchmarking
o Creating reports/overviews on the current R&D status
o Interacting with other functional departments (representing R&D) & communication within R&D
o Vehicle application study (Load body, special application etc.,) & Body builder support
Qualifications
o B.E or equivalent with min 3+ years experience in entire vehicle background.
o Good knowledge in entire vehicle management (Vehicle knowledge will be added advantage)
o Proficient with UG NX – Will be added advantage.
o Microsoft PPT, Excel, word operation and communication
o Time management and reporting
o High intercultural sensitivity and flexibility
Smooth interaction with internal and external stake holders for accomplishments
