Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Senior Civil Engineer to lead, coordinate, and supervise civil engineering projects from conception to completion. The role involves managing design, execution, quality, safety, and cost control aspects while ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Design:

  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects (e.g., infrastructure, buildings, highways, bridges, drainage systems).
  • Review and approve design drawings, calculations, and BOQs prepared by junior engineers or consultants.
  • Provide technical guidance on materials, construction methods, and structural design.

Project Execution & Supervision:

  • Oversee site activities, ensuring adherence to drawings, specifications, safety protocols, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, architects, and stakeholders for smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources, and implement corrective actions when required.
  • Conduct quality assurance and control checks on-site and ensure compliance with standards (e.g., IS codes).

Team Leadership & Coordination:

  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers, site supervisors, and technical staff.
  • Manage communication between design and site teams, ensuring technical clarity and timely problem-solving.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, progress reports, and approvals for billing and certification.

Regulatory & Safety Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental norms.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures for safe project execution.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech) or Master's Degree (M.E./M.Tech) in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: 5–10 years of relevant experience in design and/or construction management.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, ETABS, Revit, MS Project/Primavera (as applicable).
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, material specifications, and QA/QC standards.
  • Experience with budgeting, estimation, and tendering processes.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong leadership and decision-making ability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
