Position: Market Research analyst

Experience: 2-5Years

Location: Bangalore--Eco world--Bellandur

Immediate candidates preferred

Job responsibilities include:

  • Perform research & analysis on Markets/Competitors/Products for the Aerospace sensors business
  • Identify key market insights through desktop research, VOCs and present assessments on market segmentation, competition, value chain, industry trends, etc.
  • Support Analysis to make recommendations on attractive market segments and regions.
  • Prepare Country Landscapes / Playbooks
  • Perform Competitor Benchmarking, Competitive Analysis for business Competitors.
  • Build excel models to analyze existing data and develop market forecasts
  • Formulate analyses to identify whitespaces and adjacencies
  • Support ad hoc strategic initiatives as required

You Must Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university / Chartered Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst
  • 2+ yrs. of experience in Strategy, Equity Research, Investment Banking, Marketing, Business Development, Sales or similar commercial functions
  • Strong research skills and a proficiency with search engines, web alerts/analytics, LLMs (like ChatGPT), etc. quickly gather market developments, grasp & share insights.
  • Proficiency in developing Presentations for Leadership reviews using Powerpoint
  • Comfortable working with large data on Excel /Tableau to derive insights. Develop dashboards as required.
  • Good analytical skills in both qualitative and quantitative way, ability to synthesize multiple perspectives into frameworks
  • Strong business sense, strategic thinking & problem-solving capability
  • Can independently operate without supervision, develop analysis and formulate POVs for Leadership reviews
  • Excellent written and verbal English communications skills
  • Aerospace / Defense / Space / Industrial business knowhow will be a good-to-have skill
