Job Summary:

The Architectural Coordinator serves as the key communication link between the on-site construction team and the office-based architectural department. This role ensures that architectural designs are implemented accurately and effectively on-site, coordinates design-related queries, manages documentation flow, and supports the seamless execution of design intent throughout the construction phase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordination & Communication
  • Act as a bridge between the site team and the office architecture department.
  • Communicate plans, layouts clarifications, revisions, and updates to the site team.
  • Relay site issues, constraints, and requests to the design office for resolution.

Drawing Management:

  • Ensure the latest architectural drawings and revisions are available and correctly issued to site teams.
  • Assist in the coordination of architectural drawings with structural and MEP drawings.

Site Support:

  • Visit the site regularly to monitor architectural work and ensure it aligns with approved designs.
  • Provide on-site clarification for architectural details and resolve minor issues in coordination with the office.

Quality & Compliance:

  • Ensure the execution on-site matches the design intent and quality standards.
  • Highlight any deviations or non-compliance to the office architectural team and propose corrective actions.

Documentation:

  • Maintain records of RFI (Request for Information), drawings changes, and site instructions.
  • Document site observations, architectural snags, and follow up on closure.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Architecture (B. Arch) or related field.
  • Experience: 58 years in architectural coordination or site architecture role.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of construction processes and architectural detailing.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural software.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to interpret and explain drawings and technical details.

Preferred Qualities:

  • Attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving mind-set.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative attitude with both drawings and construction teams.

AGE: Up to 32 to 37 years.
