PMP Trainer

The PMP Trainer is responsible for delivering engaging and effective PMP certification training programs using PMI-developed, official content, ensuring participants are fully prepared to pass the PMP examination and apply project management principles in a real-world setting. This role is a contractual partnership with compensation based on a pre-agreed revenue-sharing percentage of the course fee for the batches trained.

Key Responsibilities

Training Delivery & Instruction

• Deliver Official PMI Content: Conduct PMP Certification Training courses using the latest, official PMI-developed, instructor-led materials and curriculum as required by GIMT's ATP status.
• Engage Participants: Facilitate dynamic, interactive, and engaging learning sessions for both in-person and virtual (live online) cohorts.
• Mentor and Coach: Provide individual and group mentorship to participants, answering complex questions, clarifying difficult concepts, and offering guidance on exam preparation strategies.
• Incorporate Real-World Experience: Use practical examples, case studies, and hands-on exercises based on extensive project management experience to illustrate concepts from the PMBOK Guide and the PMP Exam Content Outline (ECO).
• Assess and Provide Feedback: Administer practice exams and quizzes, evaluate participant progress, and provide constructive feedback to ensure learning objectives are met.

Content & Compliance

• Adhere to PMI Standards: Ensure all training sessions strictly adhere to PMI's quality standards, ethical guidelines, and the requirements of the Authorized Training Partner program.
• Stay Current: Maintain a deep and current understanding of the latest edition of the PMBOK Guide, the PMP Examination Content Outline, and all updates from PMI regarding the certification.

Operational & Partnership

• Maintain Professionalism: Represent GIMT as a professional, expert, and engaging instructor, maintaining a high level of satisfaction from all participants.
• Provide Post-Training Support: Offer limited follow-up support (e.g., via email/scheduled sessions) to participants on training content for a specified period post-course completion.
• Timely Reporting: Provide timely and accurate reports on class completion, attendance, and participant feedback as required by GIMT.

Required Qualifications

• PMP Certification: Active and in good standing with the Project Management Institute (PMI).
• PMI ATP Instructor Status: Must possess or be willing to acquire the PMI Authorized Training Partner Instructor badge (requires passing the PMI Instructor "Train-the-Trainer" course/assessment).
• Experience:
• Minimum of 5+ years of demonstrable project management experience leading and directing projects.
• Minimum of 3+ years of proven experience as a trainer/instructor delivering PMP or other professional certification courses.
• Expert Knowledge: In-depth, comprehensive knowledge of project management principles across Predictive, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies, aligning with the current PMP Examination Content Outline.
• Training Skills: Exceptional public speaking, presentation, and facilitation skills; proven ability to manage a classroom (physical or virtual) and cater to diverse learning styles.

Compensation Structure (Revenue Share Basis)

• Model: This is a contractual, freelance/consultant role based on a revenue-sharing model, not a fixed salary position.
• Revenue Share: Compensation will be a pre-negotiated percentage of the course fee revenue collected by GIMT for each training batch successfully delivered by the trainer.
• Note: The specific percentage is subject to mutual agreement and will be clearly outlined in the service contract.
• Invoicing: The Trainer will be responsible for invoicing GIMT based on the agreed-upon revenue share after the successful completion of each training engagement and receipt of payment from participants.
• Exclusions: Revenue share is typically calculated after deducting direct costs such as PMI licensing/kit fees for participants.

Pay: ₹608, ₹2,110,561.93 per year
