Job Summary

This role demands a hands-on innovator with deep knowledge of tooling, materials, and DFx principles, capable of designing components that are not only functional but optimized for manufacturability and assembly. Your expertise in 3D CAD modeling, particularly with PTC Creo Parametric, and your experience with FAI and PPAP processes will ensure that products meet quality standards and are ready for scalable production.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute complete product development lifecyclefrom concept to production launch.
  • Deliver high-performance electronic and electro-mechanical products within defined timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Electronics, Software, Manufacturing, and Quality.
  • Apply DFx principles (DFM, DFA, DFR, DFS) to optimize product design for cost, reliability, and scalability.
  • Design components using Plastic, Rubber/Elastomer, Sheet Metal, and Die Casting, ensuring compliance with manufacturing and assembly guidelines.
  • Conduct and support FAI (First Article Inspection) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) for production validation.
  • Drive tooling decisions and manufacturing strategies to support efficient product realization.
  • Create detailed 3D CAD models and engineering drawings using PTC Creo Parametric.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements across product categories.
