Role & responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Sales Manager Business Loans (DST) will be responsible for leading a team of Direct Sales Executives to acquire and manage business loan customers. The role involves driving sales performance, building strong customer relationships, ensuring quality sourcing, and achieving monthly and annual targets through effective team management and market development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Direct Sales Executives (DST) to achieve assigned business loan targets.
- Source new business opportunities through direct market activities, cold calls, references, and channel partners.
- Ensure high-quality sourcing of SME and unsecured business loan customers in line with credit policy and process guidelines.
- Drive productivity and ensure consistent performance of the DST team.
- Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and provide on-the-job training and motivation to the team.
- Coordinate with credit, operations, and collections teams to ensure smooth processing and timely disbursement of loans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Analyze market trends, identify potential segments, and develop strategies to increase market share.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies and processes.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of Business Loan / SME Loan products and processes.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the financial services sector.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure.
Qualifications:
- Graduate / Postgraduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Business Loan sales, preferably in DST
