Job Summary:
The Hotel Receptionist at Vaikuntha Stays serves as the first and last impression for our guests. You will manage the front desk with warmth and professionalism, ensuring smooth check-in/check-out processes, handling reservations, and providing exceptional service and local knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional attitude.
 - Manage check-in and check-out procedures using our hotel management system.
 - Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries promptly and courteously.
 - Take reservations and maintain accurate records of room availability.
 - Assist guests with travel directions, local information, and hotel services.
 - Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness and prompt resolution of guest issues.
 - Handle billing, process payments, and maintain accurate guest accounts.
 - Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints professionally and efficiently.
 - Promote in-house services, dining options, and local experiences.
 - Ensure the front desk area is tidy and presentable at all times.
 - Follow safety, security, and emergency procedures as needed.
 
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent (a hospitality degree/certificate is a plus).
 - Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role preferred.
 - Proficiency in using hotel PMS software (training will be provided).
 - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
 - Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
 - Well-groomed, professional appearance.
 - Flexibility to work shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
 - Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
