1. SOP and Protocols

a. Responsible for fixing the SOPs on quality norms for the company and handing over to QCM

b. Responsible for monitoring the adherence to SOPs at a top level

c. Responsible for interacting with all customers and understanding their SOPs, educating the Synthesis team about the SOP requirement and help the team to follow the SOPs.

d. Review all customer protocols when starting with any customer and understanding the same.

e. Educate the Merchandising / Production / Quality teams about every new customer protocol

f. Interacting with customer and ironing out any difficulty in the protocols

2. Inspection Agencies

a. Create a hierarchy-based data base of all Testing agencies and Inspection Agencies that we work with. This includes Quality Department of Buying Agencies too.

b. Establish contact and develop a good working rapport with all Agencies

c. Updating and educating the Merchandising / Production / Quality Team members of Synthesis on latest developments in the industry and key information's that they need to know. This can be done through the above Agencies

d. Conduct at least 1 seminar / workshop in the factory every month towards the above

3. Training

a. Set up an internship program for the Quality Control Department and run the program

b. Implement a training program for fresh candidates and assess them and induct into the department

c. Periodic assessment and upgradation of the Quality Department team members

4. Final Inspection

a. The goal is to obtain a 'Self Inspection status' with our top customers within 6 months

b. Assemble a 2-member team for all FI

c. Start with random and then proceed towards 100% coverage of orders for FI - prior to offering to third party / Agency

5. Technical Audit

a. Enable the company with strong technical capabilities based on requirement of top 3 customers

b. Identify gaps based on previous Technical Audits, and fill them

c. Responsible for all Technical Audits

6. Seminars and Workshops

a. Attend Seminars and Workshops for Technical upgradation - involve team members also in this

8. CAPS and Monitoring

a. Assist QCM in preparation of CAPS where necessary

b. Monitor the implementation of the CAP

9. Risk Analysis and Call Outs

a. At pre product development stage - to be fixed and monitored

In addition to the above,

· Devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues

· Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output

· Appraise customers' requirements and make sure they are satisfied by taking feedback.

· Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analysing quality data

· Review current standards and policies

· Ensure all legal standards are met
