We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager – Fabric to join our dynamic team.

Role Overview:

The Quality Assurance Manager – Fabric will be responsible for ensuring the quality standards of all fabrics used in our production process. This includes overseeing fabric inspection, establishing quality control procedures, vendor coordination, and managing fabric-related issues in the print-on-demand production lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in textile quality control, a keen eye for detail, and a strong understanding of ecommerce garment production workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end fabric quality assurance process from sourcing to post-print inspection.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor fabric inspection protocols in line with company and industry standards.
  • Inspect and approve incoming fabric batches to ensure consistency, durability, print compatibility, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with sourcing, production, and printing teams to identify and address any quality issues at early stages.
  • Work closely with vendors and suppliers to resolve quality concerns and ensure adherence to predefined specifications.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for fabric-related quality issues.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and quality reports for internal audits and vendor performance tracking.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, innovations in sustainable fabrics, and testing technologies relevant to print-on-demand garments.
  • Contribute to training internal teams on fabric handling, storage, and inspection techniques.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology, Apparel Manufacturing, or related field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in quality assurance within a textile company or an ecommerce-based garment company.
  • Strong understanding of knit and woven fabrics, color fastness, GSM, shrinkage, pilling, and print compatibility.
  • Experience working with sublimation, DTG (Direct to Garment), screen printing, or other print-on-demand methods is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with drop shipping and ecommerce garment production workflows is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and quality reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
