Job Title - Engineer / Senior Engineer - Production

Job Profile Summary:

The role of the Production Supervisor is to guarantee manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows. The goal is to ensure that production processes deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner.

Are you the one?

Entry-level requirements:

• Degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 4 to 6 years of manufacturing experience, preferably from escalator industry
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Performance Measures:

• Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role
• Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
• Advanced skills in MS Office
• Organizational and leadership abilities
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach Problem-solving skills

Professional requirements:

• Excellent knowledge in operation, production (lean manufacturing and 5 S principles), quality (Six   sigma), logistics and supply chain management
• Project and change management skills
• Good knowledge of automation systems Labor law and industrial relations knowledge is an added advantage

Behavioral competence:

• Execution, winning through people, Decision making, Collaboration, Stress tolerance, Quality focus, Analysis and problem solving, Environmental awareness

What will you be doing?

• Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
• Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
• Oversee and coach employees
• Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
• Check production output according to specifications
• Submit reports on performance and progress
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
• Train new, existing employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
• Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards Develop people and keep them in high spirits
