JOB DESCRIPTION — Social Media Manager (3–4 Years Experience)

Position Overview

We are looking for a creative, strategic and performance-driven Social Media Manager with 3–4 years of experience who can independently manage multiple brand accounts, create content strategies, coordinate with designers & editors, analyze performance data, and maintain strong client communication.

The ideal candidate is proactive, understands trends, and can deliver high-quality, platform-specific content consistently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Planning

• Develop monthly content calendars aligned with client goals
• Perform competitor analysis, audience persona building & industry research
• Plan social media campaigns, themes & storytelling concepts

2. Content Creation & Coordination

• Write captions, ad copies, reel scripts & short-form content
• Prepare briefs for designers/video editors and ensure brand consistency
• Manage UGC, influencer collaborations & content sourcing

3. Execution & Publishing

• Schedule and publish posts via Meta Business Suite / Hootsuite
• Conduct hashtag research, trend integration & community management
• Ensure daily monitoring of pages, comments, messages & brand reputation

4. Analytics & Reporting

• Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports (reach, engagement, growth)
• Analyze insights to optimize strategy & content performance
• Track competitor performance and trending formats

5. Client & Team Coordination

• Share weekly updates and strategic recommendations with clients
• Handle client queries professionally and maintain strong relationships
• Collaborate with designers, editors, ad specialists & internal teams

Required Skills & CompetenciesTechnical Skills

• Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn & YouTube
• Social media strategy, content planning & campaign execution
• Copywriting for social media (captions, scripts, ad copies)
• Analytics & basic understanding of paid ads
• Familiarity with tools like:
• Meta Business Suite
• Creator Studio
• Canva
• Hootsuite / Later / Buffer (optional)

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication (written & verbal)
• Creative thinking + analytical mindset
• Detail-oriented with strong time management
• Ability to handle multiple accounts simultaneously
• Trendspotting & innovative idea generation
• Strong client relationship management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing / Mass Media / Communication (preferred)
• 3–4 years of experience in a Social Media role (agency experience mandatory/preferred)
• Proven portfolio of social media campaigns & content work
