Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced
MIS Specialist – Data Transformation
to join our team on a contractual basis. The role involves analyzing organizational data, building insightful dashboards, and generating reports that help leadership teams make informed business decisions. The specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of reports, while also recommending process improvements and supporting data-driven transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Insights:
    Analyze data from different business functions, identify patterns and trends, and provide meaningful insights to support decision-making.
  • Report & Dashboard Development:
    Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and MIS reports primarily using
    Power BI
    , along with other tools as required.
  • Data Validation & Quality:
    Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data used for reporting. Identify and resolve data discrepancies proactively.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
    Work closely with IT, business teams, and functional leaders to understand reporting needs and deliver customized solutions.
  • Communication:
    Present data findings in a simple, business-friendly format, making reports actionable for stakeholders.
  • System Maintenance:
    Monitor and maintain reporting systems and tools to ensure smooth functioning and timely updates.
  • Process Improvement:
    Recommend improvements to data collection, reporting workflows, and visualization practices.
  • Knowledge Sharing:
    Support end-users by training them on Power BI dashboards and other reporting tools, enabling self-service analytics where possible.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of proven experience as an
    MIS Specialist / Reporting Analyst / Data Analyst
    .
  • Strong experience in
    Power BI
    for dashboarding and reporting.
  • Solid understanding of
    data analysis, visualization, and validation techniques
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    Excel, SQL, and other reporting tools
    will be an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across business and IT teams.
