About the Role

We are hiring an experienced AI/ML & Generative AI Engineer with a strong background in mainframe technologies. The role involves building industry-grade AI/ML and GenAI solutions while also supporting integration with existing enterprise mainframe systems. Candidates should be comfortable working in hybrid mode and collaborating closely with the cross functional teams for delivery assurance.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related technical field.
• Master's degree (MCA / M.Tech) is preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

AI/ML & GenAI Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy end-to-end AI/ML models for real-world use cases.
• Develop and optimize Generative AI solutions for text, image, and multimodal workloads.
• Build Agentic AI systems with autonomous task execution and decision-making capabilities.
• Write scalable, clean, and efficient Python code for AI/ML pipelines.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement AI-based enhancements in business workflows.
• Stay current with latest trends in LLMs, transformers, diffusion models, and emerging AI technologies.

Mainframe Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL, Assembler, and PL/I.
• Work with IMS and DB2 databases in both development and support environments.
• Utilize JCL and mainframe utilities for batch and online processing.
• Support debugging, performance tuning, and production fixes.
• Assist in integrating AI/ML outputs with mainframe systems wherever applicable.

Skills & Technical Expertise

AI/ML & GenAI Skills

• Strong programming skills in Python, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn.
• Hands-on expertise with LLMs, diffusion models, and transformer-based architectures.
• Working knowledge of Agentic AI systems, multi-agent workflows, and orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with model fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and AI deployment pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for AI/ML workloads.

Mainframe Skills

• Proficiency in COBOL, Assembler, PL/I programming.
• Experience with IMS hierarchical databases and DB2 relational databases.
• Good understanding of JCL and mainframe operational processes.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹160, ₹180,000.00 per month
