Below is the JD for the requirement:

Handling all the aspects of team administration tasks for HPUX

Level 2 Administration of HP UX servers Performance monitoring and tuning on CPU & kernel.

Working user and client on sudo issues.

Knowledge on Patching activity.

Strong knowledge on HP superdomes, Npar & vPar concepts.

Strong knowledge on Service Guard Cluster

Strong troubleshooting skills on IO latency, unexpected server reboots, network latency etc

Strong skills in understanding nickel logs and analysis.

Job automation with crontab and looking into cron issues.

Monitoring System Performance of Virtual memory, System events, Swapping, Disk utilization, CPU utilization by running scripts.

Finding Root cause for the incidents and helping Problem management team to prepare a Root Cause Report for client review.

Skill to shape the work environment, setting strategy and overseeing operations

Experience in managing team and their activities

Excellent communication skills

ITIL knowledge and certification

Responsible for maintaining 100% Clients SLA.
