Role Summary
The Operations & Compliance Manager will be the backbone of our end-to-end study abroad services, ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient application filing, documentation management, and pre-departure support for students. This role requires expert knowledge of university admissions criteria, visa regulations, and client management.
Key Responsibilities
1. University Applications & Documentation
- Profile Assessment & Shortlisting:
Conduct detailed profile analysis (academic records , test scores) to recommend suitable universities and programs, matching academic goals and financial budgets. - Application Management:
Oversee the entire university application lifecycle, including online submission, tracking, and coordinating with university partners for offers and updates. - Document Excellence:
Manage and finalize critical application documents, including detailed review and submission of Statements of Purpose (SOPs) and Letters of Recommendation (LORs). - Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate, up-to-date student records and track application progress using CRM tools.
2. Visa & Compliance
- Visa Guidance:
Provide expert, step-by-step guidance and documentation support for visa applications (e.g., UK Student Visa, US F-1 Visa, Canada Study Permit, APS for Germany) for all target countries. - Regulatory Compliance:
Stay current on all international student immigration rules, country-specific regulations, and financial evidence requirements (e.g., Proof of Funds, CAS, LOA) to minimize visa rejection risk. - Liaison:
Act as the primary contact for university partners, embassies, and external service providers (e.g., loan, accommodation) to ensure smooth processes.
3. Student Support & Conversion
- Counselling Expertise:
Leverage counselling experience to address student and parent apprehensions regarding finances, culture, and career prospects. - Value-Added Services:
Manage coordination for ancillary services, including student loans, accommodation booking, health insurance, and pre-departure assistance. - Outreach Support:
Assist the sales/marketing team by participating in targeted student outreach, education fairs, and promotional activities to acquire qualified leads.
Desired Qualifications & Skills
- Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferred). - Experience:
Proven experience (2-4 years) as an Education Counselor or Academic Counselor in the study abroad sector. - Technical Proficiency:
Strong command of MS Office Suite (especially Excel for data analysis and tracking) and experience with CRM tools. - Core Skills:
