Deputy Manager - SME Collections 

Job Purpose 

This position is open with Bajaj Finance Ltd.

Duties and Responsibilities- Achieve collection targets of the assigned area, ensuring PL Roll Back targets/PSBL collection targets and meeting the target on cost of collections.
- Control delinquency and focus on write-off management.
- Ensure documented feedback is maintained.
- Ensure legal tools such as 138/arbitration summons and warrants are executed along with the legal team.
- Comply with audit queries.
- Ensure adequate "Feet on Street" availability area-wise, bucket-wise, and segment-wise.
- Manage productivity by setting productivity parameters for Collection Officers/Agencies/DMAs, monitoring performance against set parameters, and conducting weekly reviews with the collection executives.
- Ensure background and reference checks of agencies/DMAs being appointed.
- Constantly evaluate DMAs and agencies.
- Identify and manage training needs for the Collection Executives (CEs).
- Support collection officers in legal and police issues.
- Ensure CHAMPION collection is driven successfully in the field.
- Visit random customers as part of field checks.

Required Qualifications and Experience- Graduation with 3 to 5 years, or MBA with 3 years, of relevant experience.
- People management skills.

- Strong bias for action and driving results in a high-performance environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead from the front.
- Excellent relationship skills.
- Affirmative nature, strong leadership skills, clarity of thought, and perseverance.
- Exceptionally high motivational levels; must be a self-starter.
- Working knowledge of computers.
