Position Overview:

• We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer with expertise in Python, AWS and API Development to join our dynamic team in the healthcare third party risk domain. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of a business need end-to-end starting from understanding the requirements to deploying the software into production. This role requires you to be fluent in some of the critical technologies with proficiency in others and have a hunger to learn on the job and add value to the business. Critical attributes of being a software engineering associate advisor among others is Ownership & Accountability.
• In addition to Delivery, this role should have an automation first and continuous improvement mindset. He / She should drive the adoption of CI/CD tools and support the improvement of the tools sets/processes.
• They should be able to articulate clear business objectives aligned to technical specifications and work in an iterative, agile pattern daily. They have ownership over their work tasks, and embrace interacting with all levels of the team and raise challenges when necessary. We aim to be cutting-edge engineers – not institutionalized developers.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable and secure full stack applications using Python.
• Build, integrate and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless communication between microservices and external systems.
• Develop and deploy applications on AWS Cloud, leveraging services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Glue, Terraform, and API Gateway.
• Ensure high availability, scalability and security of applications hosted on AWS.
• Write clean, efficient and maintainable code following best practices for CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Conduct and participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to ensure code quality and adherence to industry standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimize applications to improve performance and reliability.
• Participate in architectural decision-making and contribute to the development of technical strategies.

Required Skills:

• Backend Expertise: Proficient in Python with experience in frameworks like Flask or Django.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and API design principles.
• Frontend Skills: Experience with Angular is a plus.
• Cloud Proficiency: Hands on experience with AWS cloud architecture and services.
• Database Management: Strong knowledge of both SQL databases.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices for application development.
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards & regulatory compliance (e.g. HIPAA, HL7) is an advantage.

Required Experience & Education:

• 8 - 11 Years of Experience.
• Experience with third parties risk management will be a plus.
• Proven experience with architecture, design, and development of large-scale enterprise application solutions.
• College degree (Bachelor) in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum Framework (PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum).
• Industry certifications such as AWS – CCP, AWS – Solutions Architect preferred.
• Desired Experience:
• Exposure to Angular.
• Healthcare experience.
