Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled AWS Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and support a leading eCommerce client from their Bengaluru office. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring hands-on expertise in architecting and managing scalable, secure, and high-performance AWS environments tailored to eCommerce operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure to support high-availability eCommerce applications.
  • Optimize cloud architecture for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
  • Manage and monitor AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, and VPC.
  • Ensure robust security practices including IAM roles, encryption, and network segmentation.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and application releases.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and ensure minimal downtime.
  • Conduct regular performance tuning and cost optimization reviews.
  • Stay updated with AWS innovations and recommend improvements.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with at least 5 years on AWS.
  • Proven experience supporting eCommerce platforms or high-traffic web applications.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services, networking, and security best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS) and serverless technologies.
  • Proficiency in monitoring tools like CloudWatch, ELK, Datadog, or similar.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix systems and scripting (Bash, Python).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer.
  • Familiarity with PCI-DSS compliance and secure payment infrastructure.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
