Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant / Housekeeping Associate

Department: Housekeeping

Reports To: Executive Housekeeper / Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Purpose

To ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas, delivering a premium experience that meets the standards of a five-star classified hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean, organize, and maintain guest rooms, suites, corridors, and public areas as per hotel standards.
  • Ensure rooms are fully stocked with guest amenities, linens, and supplies.
  • Follow established procedures for handling guest belongings, lost & found items, and special requests.
  • Inspect and report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
  • Uphold hygiene and sanitation protocols, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Provide courteous, prompt, and efficient service to guests, handling requests with discretion and professionalism.
  • Maintain housekeeping trolleys, equipment, and storage areas in clean and orderly condition.
  • Support laundry operations by collecting, sorting, and delivering linens and uniforms as required.
  • Follow the hotel's sustainability and eco-friendly housekeeping practices.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to ensure seamless guest service.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous housekeeping experience in a 4-star/5-star hotel preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced luxury environment.
  • Good communication skills, polite and professional demeanor.
  • Physically fit to handle cleaning tasks and long working hours.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
