Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced professional who understands the end-to-end process of recovering shares transferred to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) and resolving issues related to lost share folios. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth technical and procedural knowledge, along with the ability to coordinate with stakeholders, clients, RTAs, and government authorities to facilitate timely recoveries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete process of IEPF recovery, including documentation, filing Form IEPF-5, and liaising with the IEPF Authority.
  • Handle end-to-end resolution of lost share folio cases tracing folios, preparing indemnities, and ensuring transfer formalities.
  • Coordinate with Registrars and Transfer Agents (RTAs) and internal teams to track and close recovery cases.
  • Communicate with shareholders or their legal heirs to collect required documents and provide status updates.
  • Troubleshoot delays, objections, or rejections in the recovery process with practical, compliant solutions.
  • Maintain logs and MIS reports of all ongoing and completed cases for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Stay updated with the latest MCA circulars and amendments in IEPF and share recovery regulations.
