About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Consultant - Medical Oncologist to join our multidisciplinary oncology team. The ideal candidate will provide expert clinical care in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer, while working collaboratively with surgeons, radiation oncologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive cancer care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage patients with cancer and related disorders using evidence-based medical oncology practices.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and other systemic treatments.
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to discuss complex cases and participate in tumor boards.
  • Monitor treatment outcomes, manage side effects, and ensure high standards of patient safety and care.
  • Contribute to cancer prevention, awareness, and screening programs.
  • Guide and mentor junior doctors, residents, and nursing staff.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
  • Stay updated with advances in oncology and participate in continuous medical education, clinical research, and academic activities.
