The Inventory Control management position at Roambee is a role to maintain a desired stock level of Roambee products or items. The desired level is a function of customer service requirements and the cost of inventory investment. The mission is to address the activities and techniques to best manage inventories.

The main responsibilities of this position include meeting inventory goals, managing tracking systems and acting as a liaison to other departments.

This position reports into Director – Operations, India.

Responsibility
  • Design and implement an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures
  • Examine the levels of supplies to determine shortages
  • Document daily deliveries shipments and returns shipments to update inventory.
  • Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
  • Evaluate new inventory to ensure it's ready for shipment.
  • Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems.
  • Order new supplies to avoid inefficiencies or excessive surplus.
  • Analyse different suppliers to obtain the best cost-effective deals.
  • Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports.
  • Verify and maintain RMA inventory

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Inventory Management or relevant field
  • Proven experience as inventory manager or similar position.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Working knowledge of inventory management software.
  • Critical thinking, Organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have excellent writing skills and experience in writing standard operating procedures and other related communications.
  • Strong excel and analytical skills.
  • Candidate should be multitasking.
  • Must be a team player and should be comfortable working across geographies with various team members.
