Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to build the intelligence backbone of our upcoming AI-driven modulesunder the IMAST 360 ecosystem. The ideal candidate will design and train machine learning models, extract business insights from large-scale data, and collaborate with developers to bring predictive intelligence into our SaaS products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement machine learning and deep learning models for:

  • Customer segmentation and churn prediction

  • Loyalty point optimization and fraud detection
  • Sales forecasting and demand prediction

  • Sentiment analysis and NLP-based engagement insights

  • Perform data wrangling, preprocessing, and feature engineering on structured and unstructured datasets.

  • Translate business problems into data science projects with measurable impact.
  • Work with the AI/Python development team to productionize ML models into the IMAST 360 platform.
  • Develop data pipelines and APIs for real-time inference and dashboards.
  • Use statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and data visualization to derive actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with leadership on designing an AI roadmap aligned with IMAST's SaaS evolution.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, LLMs, and automation frameworks.

Technical Skills & Tools

  • Languages: Python (must), R (optional)
  • Libraries: Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, NLTK, SpaCy
  • Data Handling: SQL, MongoDB, AWS S3, BigQuery, or similar
  • Visualization: Power BI, Tableau, or Python visualization libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly)
  • Machine Learning: Regression, Classification, Clustering, Time Series, Recommendation Systems
  • Deep Learning: CNN, RNN, Transformers, LSTM, NLP models
  • Cloud & Deployment: AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, FastAPI/Flask for model deployment
  • Version Control: Git/GitHub

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or Applied Mathematics.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in applied machine learning and data science.
  • Prior experience in AI development within SaaS or enterprise platforms preferred.
  • Exposure to Loyalty, Retail, or Supply Chain datasets will be an added advantage.

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
  • Business acumen to translate insights into actions.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Python Dev, Product, and Client Solutions).
