Job Title: Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP)

Reports To: Chef de Partie / Sous Chef

Location: Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh

Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹20,000 per month (depending on experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) to join our culinary team. In this role, you will assist the Chef de Partie in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality dishes in your designated section. You will be expected to maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen organization while contributing to a positive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes in your assigned section according to the restaurant's standards.
• Support the Chef de Partie in all aspects of kitchen operations.
• Ensure all food is prepared consistently and in a timely manner.
• Assist in the development of new dishes and menus.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
• Monitor food stock levels and inform the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef of shortages.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and rotation of ingredients.
• Maintain control over waste and portion sizes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a professional kitchen, ideally in a similar DCDP or Commis Chef role.
• Culinary school diploma or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Solid understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for food quality and presentation.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP or similar).
