Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Location: Pune

Experience: 6+

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer ( SRE ) to plan, manage, and oversee all aspects of the Production ecosystem. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, drive automation, enhance monitoring capabilities, and improve application reliability across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and oversee end-to-end ownership of the Production environment.
  • Define strategies for Application Performance Monitoring and optimization in Production.
  • Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and reduce incident frequency over time.
  • Support deployment activities across lower environments with a strong focus on automation.
  • Design, develop, and standardize monitoring and alerting frameworks for supported applications.
  • Take a holistic approach to troubleshooting during production issues to reduce MTTR.
  • Engage across the full service lifecycle—design, deployment, operations, and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze ITSM activities and provide feedback to development teams to improve resiliency.
  • Perform system design consulting, capacity planning, and launch reviews for pre-go-live services.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, validate builds, and enforce operational best practices.
  • Maintain live services by monitoring availability, latency, performance, and system health.
  • Scale systems sustainably through automation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with global teams across multiple geographies and time zones.
  • Share knowledge effectively and mentor team members on processes and procedures.
  • Participate in rotational on-call support, with occasional off-hours work required.

Required Skills – Must Have

  • Strong Linux administration
  • Shell scripting
  • ITIL / ITSM knowledge
  • Basic SQL
  • Application troubleshooting
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Preferred: Splunk / Dynatrace)
  • Jenkins CI/CD
  • Good understanding of Azure Cloud technologies
  • Groovy scripting / YAML
  • Git / Bitbucket
  • Configuration management tools: Ansible / Chef

Good to Have

  • Event Framework Architecture knowledge

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹1,400,000.00 per year

Experience:
